On our Visits
I love visiting hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, shelters, social service places, and senior homes. I get to see many people who know me well and I get to meet new people. Lots of them love to pet me and see me do my skills. I always hope I can give them some sweetness to help them on what might be a difficult, busy, or stressful day. Loren and I visit lots of patients in the hospitals and clinics but we take care of their privacy by not having photos of them.
This is the video Loren and I showed at the Leap into Literacy event.
We visited the hospital on Christmas Day and met a very sweet girl who's mom was in the ICU. I snuggled with her for a long time and I hope I helped her feel a little better.
One of my favorite times at the hospital. They announce on the loudspeaker that there is going to be a Hero's Walk. People line up along the hallway to honor someone who has donated something that will save their friend's life. I love to honor them as they go by!
I've been in court several times to help young people who have to testify. It can be difficult and sad but I'm proud that my being there can bring even a little bit of comfort to someone who is going through a very hard time.
NEW. Today I dressed up for the Fourth of July and met some wonderful ladies on the team at Banner South. They really enjoyed seeing me in my outfit.
NEW. Wearing my rose and ready for a visit with kids at Banner Hospital.
Loren and I will have a booth to encourage kids about reading and writing. The event is called Leap into Literacy (an extra good fit for me because I'm so good at leaping).

We work with a girl who uses a talker. She has a "Lina" button that says my name out loud for her.
Loren made a talker like that girl's so I could push the buttons with my nose and and say things to her.
When Loren and I got certified as a therapy dog team, I was very proud to wear my new vest.
Loren and I visit the Tucson Medical Center every week. It's also great exercise for us; they have 9-1/2 miles of hallways!
We love visiting the Children's Clinics and they appreciate us.
I love this photo because it reminds me that I used to be so wild that Loren couldn't even bring me to a parking lot---and now I am very welcome in a place like this!
We had our first visit to Casa de los Niños and their early learning center. The next week we were so happy to see their appreciation outside one of the classrooms.
This was another sweet appreciation at Casa de los Niños, outside the Butterflies classroom.
Loren loves this photo.
A nice post from one of the local groups we work with: Gabriel's Angels.
