My Training
Some of my training started with just going to lots of places so I could practice staying calm around people. I also took classes at Ruff House (ruffhouse.biz) and they were wonderful; they helped Loren and me learn a lot. Before I took any classes, I had to start with 10 hours of training in my home, because I couldn’t be in a room with any other dogs. Then, when we went to my first hour-long class, I barked for 45 solid minutes! But then, each week, I barked a little less and a little less until I was much more civilized.

I have to start with a photo that's really important to me. I'm sitting next to Wrigley, who was Crystal's (my teacher's) dog. Wrigley was the most skillful, best trained dog I ever met so I was very honored to be with her (she's my role model). Several people had adopted her but not wanted to keep her. Then Crystal adopted her and she learned so well that she became an obedience competition champion all around the country!

Our photo and certificate when we passed our Alliance of Therapy Dogs test. We were very proud!

I practiced staying and then coming, when Loren calls me at a big little league field.

I got to practice being well-behaved and patient at a pharmacy.

After we got our orientation at Tucson Medical Center, I got by office security badge. I think it's very professional.
